Potential Harm:

No way to ensure the health and safety of worker that is

  1. fit for purpose; and

  2. suitable for the nature and duration of the work; and

  3. installed, set up, and used correctly.


Proposed Controls and Actions:

Develop a policy with worker engagement requirements pursuant to s. 58 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.  


Ensure obligation of PCBU are met pursuant to s. 44 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.  


Installing a registration point on site linked to a database for the purpose of identifying human and work hazards as they enter the site pursuant to s. 7 of the Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016.  


Testing IoT cameras to log and compare our numberplate database for time of entry and exit and personhood of identifying human and work hazards.


Assign club executive members and volunteers to watch IoT cameras to ensure the employee is monitored and that emergency services can be called.  


Having a manual sign in by way of tablet linked to website for database of visitors at worse case.  


Have a manual sign in with automations by way of QR code or NFC tag at worse case.


Provide a cellphone to the worker with tracking.
