POLICY PURPOSE

Standard Modui Operandi: The Head Greens Keeper reports to the Greens Conveneer.


GREEN CUTTING


Monday, Wednesday, and Friday cutting of all greens must occur.

Cutting of greens must also occur for:

  • Club Champs.

  • Tournaments.

  • Waikato Fixtures.



SURROUND CUTTING


Once a week in any one (1) week.


TEE CUTTING


Once a week in any one (1) week.


SHIFT TEE MARKERS FOR


  • Club Champs.

  • Tournaments.

  • Waikato Fixtures.


CUTTING HOLES


Once a week in any one (1) week.


NEW HOLES FOR


  • Club Champs.

  • Tournaments.

  • Waikato Fixtures.


CUT FAIRWAYS


Once a week in any one (1) week.


CUT ROUGH


When needed. This can be assesed by the length of grass being subjectively too long.


TIDY BUNKERS


When needed, this includes raking and rubbish removal including removal of tree debris.


SPRAYING


Spraying will be done only by the Head Greens Keeper or by instruction of the Head Greens Keeper. Chemical handling processess must be observed and respected.



TASK VARIATIONS FOR WHEN HEAD GREENS KEEPER IS AWAY ON ANNUAL LEAVE


  • Specific actions will need to be take at specific times.

  • Before taking leave, the Head Greens Keeper will promulgate the instructions for volunteers or other to undertake in the absence of the Head Greens Keeper for the consistant maintainance of the Greens and other responsibilities.
