EXPERIENCE

  1. Because officers of the Club were not trained they would generally be regulatory avoidant.

  2. As the messenger of these things, in the course of the work as instructed I have been:

    1. Threatened with violence.

    2. Told I am too PC.

    3. Yelled at for trying to get the Club to do their fundamental lawful obligations pursuant to:

      1. The Incorporated Societies Act 2022.

      2. The Incorporated Societies Regulations 2023.

      3. Employment Relations Act 2000.

      4. The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

      5. Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016.

      6. The principles of natural justice.

      7. The principles of administrative justice (law).

    4. Eventually apologised to.

  3. This is fairly typical of organisation going through change management and group formation processess.

  4. I would ask that the Club do not shoot the messenger, but rather engage in completing the work to ensure a successful application to the incorporated societies register and to reduce any Club contribution (legal definition) to any future matters.

  5. The Club can do this by fulfilling its fundamental lawful obligations.
